Due to the current pandemic, all in-house Actsafe courses are cancelled and we’re doing our utmost to offer as many of our courses virtually. However, OFA1 is an interactive course and can only be taught in-person and therefore we will not be offering this course at this time. Course Cost: $75 +GST
Course Duration: 8.5hrs

This one day course packs in life-saving information, and provides a WorkSafeBC OFA1 certificate. Course covers;

    • The rights and responsibilities of the Occupational First Aid Attendant,
    • Scene assessment,
    • ABCs (Airway, Breathing, Circulation),
    • Wound Assessment and treatment,
    • First-aid records,
    • Burns,
    • Airway obstruction management,
    • Respiratory/cardiac arrest management,
    • An introduction to automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and
    • Instruction on performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
