Experienced Operator:

  • $150 + GST
  • Experienced Operators = > 40 hrs of experience
  • Schedule: Online theory + one 4-hour practical assessment

Inexperienced Operator:

  • $250 + GST
  • Inexperienced Operators = < 40 hrs of experience
  • Schedule: Online theory + one 8-hour practical assessment
STEPS FOR COMPLETION
    1. Register for the practical training date
    2. Complete online theory before your practical training
    3. Complete practical training
    4. Digital Certificate received within 5-7 business days of practical training completion

In this combination of online theory training and an in-person practical assessment*, the aim is to reduce the risks associated with operating a telehandler. The online theory has been written to comply with the requirements for theory training as outlined in both the CSA Standard B335-15, as well as the ANSI Standard B56.6.

The online theory can be taken anytime from the comfort of your home or office. The theory is approximately 1.5hrs long and participants must get a mark of 80% to pass. Participants may repeat the theory two more times if a passing mark has not been achieved.

* The online portion of the training MUST be completed BEFORE attending the in-person practical assessment.

Participants are required to complete the online portion prior to attending the in-person practical assessment. The practical assessment takes place at:

The in-person practical must be completed within 6 months of the completion of the online theory. Failure to do so will require additional training and/or fees.

Please arrive 15 mins before the class start time.

If you arrive late, you will not be allowed to participate and will be assessed a rebooking fee of 100% of the course cost to reschedule. Please read our cancellation policy here for more information.

You will be turned away if you do not adhere to the following requirements and will have to pay the rebooking fee to reschedule:

✔ DO wear steel toed boots and long pants
✔ DO wear proper attire for the weather conditions
✔ DO bring your picture ID
✘ DON’T wear shorts, sleeveless shirts, skirts and/or dresses. These are not permitted at any time.
