  • Chantelle Fry

What Technicians Need to Know

  • Alan Ly

  • Layne Roscoe

A Message from Threads of Life

100% of all revenue generated from advertisements in our quarterly newsletter, Safety Scene, is donated to our chosen charity of the year. This year we were supporting Threads of Life, a national charity who brings hope and healing to Canadian families who have been affected by a workplace fatality, life-altering injury, or occupational disease.

Threads of Life have shared a message thanking all the organizations who contributed an advertisement in 2020:

“Threads of Life would like to extend our thanks to Actsafe Safety Association for your support throughout 2020. Thank you for helping to raise awareness about our programs and services, and thank you for the donation we received today which represents the proceeds from your advertising sales in your quarterly newsletter this year. Please express our gratitude to your stakeholders for their contribution in this endeavour.

Your donation will support families who have been impacted by a workplace tragedy. You are making a difference in the lives of more than 3,000 family members we currently serve, and the many others who will come to us for help in the future. Since 2003, Threads of Life has worked to advance its mission of helping families heal through a community of support and to promote the elimination of life-altering workplace injuries, illnesses and deaths.”

We will be announcing our 2021 charity in the next edition of Safety Scene, Biological Hazards, so stay tuned!
