Board of Directors

 We would like to welcome Dave Wilson to the position of ‘Performing Arts Worker Representative’ on the Actsafe Board of Directors.

We would also like to announce that Cheryl Nex and Laurie Edmundson have stepped down from their roles as Treasurer, and Performing Arts Worker Representative, respectively. Thank you both for your many years of service on the Board of Directors.

Atlin Arts and Music Festival Outreach

Our Manager of Performing Arts Programs and Services, Don Parman, recently filled in as Lighting Director at the Atlin Arts and Music Festival. He attended safety meetings, concerts, and networked with the amazing arts community of northern BC and the Yukon. To find out more:

International Overdose Awareness Day

International Overdose Awareness Day, August 31, spreads the message that the tragedy of overdose death is preventable. Actsafe hosts hands-on training courses where attendees can participate in a practical session learning how to deliver the opioid overdose reversal drug ‘Naloxone’. British Columbia Day
