The Live Performance Electrical Certification (LPEC) is an industry training credential that workers in the performing arts industry can obtain by taking an online exam. The test covers electrical work performed during the setup, run and strike of live events, to cable and maintain a lighting rig or set up audio-visual or public address systems for live events and performances.

Application Requirement

Applicants must demonstrate and document 800 hours of practical experience in their application to be eligible to write the test. Successful applicants will be sent an email with instructions to access the exam.
