CANCELLATION POLICY FOR LEAVITT MACHINERY COURSES:

If you are unable to attend any Leavitt Machinery courses below, you must give Actsafe a minimum of 5 business days’ notice (prior to the course date) to qualify for a refund, credit*, or rebooking without penalty.

Skid Steer Training
Counterbalanced Forklift Training
Telehandler/Rough Terrain Forklift Training
Fall Protection Training
CANCELLATION TERMS (as per Leavitt Machinery):
    • Within 5 or more business days of the course date = 100% refund, credit*, or rebook without penalty
    • Within 2-4 business days of the course date = no refund; 50% of the course fee to rebook
    • Within 1 business day (24hrs) of the course date = no refund, 100% of the course fee to rebook
    • No Show = no refund, 100% of the course fee to rebook
    • Late Fee (15 mins or more) = no refund, 100% of the course fee to rebook
    • Incomplete Online Theory or Improper Attire = no refund, 100% of the course fee to rebook

*Credits must be used within a year of the original registration date, or within 6 months of completing the online theory.
If you have completed the online theory for a course, the online theory is not refundable

If you are unable to attend any free Actsafe courses below, you must give Actsafe a minimum of 3 business days’ notice (prior to the course date) to qualify for rebooking without penalty.

Group Training Option

Are you looking to schedule in a large group for machinery training? Would you like your crew to be trained on your work site? You are on the right page!

Actsafe will work with Leavitt Machinery to cater to your crew, and schedule as best we can. Group Training can be accommodated with Aerial Lift, Fall Protection, Counterbalanced Forklift, Telehandler/Rough Terrain, and Skid Steer Training. 

Once you submit a Group Training Request form, we will send you our Group Training Policy that will cover class size limitations, experience levels, price, and a schedule example as they pertain to each class. 

Please fill out his Group Training Request Form below and send it to grouptraining@actsafe.ca. An Actsafe representative will contact you within 2 business days to discuss your training options.

Visiting the Actsafe Office During the COVID-19 Pandemic?

The Actsafe office is open with limited staffing capacity between 9am -4pm. If you are visiting the Actsafe office, or are a student attending class at the Actsafe office, please read the below information.

Actsafe Safety Association is committed to providing a safe environment for our employees, members, and visitors, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place and will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Actsafe will comply with applicable WorkSafeBC regulations, Provincial Health Office (PHO), Provincial and Federal government guidelines and orders relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

What to know

Everyone entering the Actsafe office will be required to fill out and sign the daily health declaration form. This form will be available at the front desk.

    • The training room is set up to maintain a 2-metre distance between participants. We ask that furniture not be moved or disturbed.
    • Masks and gloves will be made available to anyone who wishes to don them. You can request them from the instructor.
    • When physical distancing cannot be maintained, (i.e. when practicing first aid skills) guests will be encouraged to wear face masks.
    • Hand sanitizer will be available in all training/meeting rooms as well as at each end of the office.
    • Coffee/tea will not be made available until further notice.
    • You are encouraged to bring your own water bottle so that you can avail yourself to the touchless water dispenser in the training room.
    • Taste of Splendour Café in the next building is open for business should you wish to purchase lunch.
    • Building management has placed a limit of two people at a time in washrooms and elevators. We ask that you please adhere to their posted guidelines.
