Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation notice must be received within Actsafe’s office hours (9AM-5PM). After 5PM the notice will be received the following business day. To cancel, email info@actsafe.ca or call 604-733-4682.

If you are unable to attend any Leavitt Machinery courses, you must give Actsafe a minimum of 5 business days’ notice (prior to the course date) to qualify for a refund, credit*, or rebooking without penalty.

Leavitt Machinery courses include:

 

Cancellation and Refund Terms

  • Within 5 or more business days of the course date
    • 100% refund, credit*, or rebook without penalty
  • Within 2-4 business days of the course date
    • no refund, but may rebook at 50% of the course fee
  • Within 1 business day (24 hours) of the course date
    • no refund, and 100% of the course fee to rebook
  • No-show
    • no refund, and 100% of the course fee to rebook
  • Late for 15 minutes or more
    • no refund, and 100% of the course fee to rebook
  • Incomplete online theory* or improper attire
    • no refund, and 100% of the course fee to rebook

 



* Credits must be used within a year of the original registration date, or within 6 months of completing the online theory.
* If you have completed the online theory for a course, the online theory is not refundable.

 

If you are unable to attend any Felcan courses, you must give Actsafe a minimum of 2 business days’ notice (prior to the course date) to qualify for rebooking without penalty.

Felcan courses include:

 

Cancellation and Refund Terms

  • Within 1-2 business days of the course date
    • $55 fee to rebook
  • No-show
    • no refund, but may rebook at a $55 fee

 



* If the course date of the Felcan course you have registered for has low enrollment, Actsafe reserves the right to cancel the course and will notify participants 3-4 business days prior to the scheduled course date.

 

If you are unable to attend any MPPIA courses, you must give Actsafe a minimum of 3 business days’ notice (prior to the course date) to qualify for a refund, credit*, or rebooking without penalty.

MPPIA courses include:

 

Cancellation and Refund Terms

  • Within 3 business days of the course date
    • 100% refund, credit*, or rebook without penalty
  • Within 1-3 business days of the course date
    • no refund, but may rebook at 60% of the course fee
  • No-show
    • no refund, and 100% of the course fee to rebook

* If the course date of the MPPIA course you have registered for has low enrollment, Actsafe reserves the right to cancel the course and will notify participants 2-3 business days prior to the scheduled course date.

 

If you are unable to attend any free Actsafe courses, you must give Actsafe a minimum of 3 business days’ notice (prior to the course date) to qualify for rebooking without penalty.

Free Actsafe courses include:

  • Within 1-3 business days of the course date
    • $45 fee to rebook
  • No-show
    • no refund, but may rebook at a $45 fee

If you are unable to attend any paid Actsafe courses, you must give Actsafe a minimum of 3 business days’ notice (prior to the course date) to qualify for a refund, credit*, or rebooking without penalty.

Paid Actsafe courses include:

Group Training Option

Are you looking to schedule a large group for machinery training? Would you like your crew to be trained on your work site? Actsafe will work with Leavitt Machinery to cater to your crew, and schedule as best we can. Group Training can be accommodated with Aerial LiftFall ProtectionCounterbalanced ForkliftTelehandler/Rough Terrain, and Skid Steer Training

Once you submit a Group Training Request form, we will send you our Group Training Policy that will cover class size limitations, experience levels, price, and a schedule example as they pertain to each class.
