The COVID Safety Coordinator is a key member of the production team who focuses on implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to help mitigate COVID-19 hazards in today’s onsite environment in accordance with the current guidance and reasonable practices.

The COVID Safety Coordinator: Working to Make Onsite Safer one-day workshop via video conference reviews the latest Public Health Agency of Canada, WorkSafeBC, CANOSH, and CCOHS guidance and new procedures that will be necessary for working onsite in a live event/entertainment environment in light of COVID-19. This session examines the “new normal” and reviews the practical tools and resources for working in the event space as safely as possible. The workshop emphasizes how to best integrate the COVID Safety Coordinator position into the production process. 

Attendees will receive a COVID Safety Coordinator certificate upon completion of the workshop.
