Counterbalanced Forklift Training

Blended Learning Training Model as of January 2016.

This combination of online forklift training and a practical assessment aims to reduce the risks associated to sit down, vertical mast forklifts by teaching you the fundamentals of forklift safety. Written to comply with the requirements for theory training as outlined in the CSA standard B335.15 as well as the ANSI standard B56.1, these courses cover all that you need to know to reduce the risks to people, products and property.

Online forklift theory training can be taken at any time from the comfort of your home or office. This course is approximately 2.5 hours long and a mark of 80% is required in order to pass the course. Participants may repeat the course two times if a passing mark has not been achieved. If a passing mark is not achieved after three attempts, re-registration is required.

* The theory portion of the training MUST be completed BEFORE attending the in-person practical assessment. A separate email will be sent to you containing the account activation instructions to access this portion of your training.

Experienced operators must have a minimum of 40hrs of experience and attend one 4 hour practical assessment session. Course cost: $150 + gst.

Inexperienced operators with little to no experienced must attend two 4 hour practical assessment sessions. Course cost: $250 + gst.

IMPORTANT: Steel-toed boots are required when doing the practical assessment. Shorts are not permitted. You will be turned away if you do not have steel toed boots or are wearing shorts and will have to pay a re-booking fee to reschedule.
